Pathway Care

Pathway Care is a successful MVP: a React Native CLI mobile app for appointment booking and an AI-based symptoms checker, with a NestJS backend. Users sign up, log in, search clinics and doctors, and book appointments. The app includes notification and profile settings and is multi-language. An AI questionnaire flow uses a trained LLM on the backend to provide risk assessment only—it never states that the user has or does not have cancer.

When a user books an appointment, the clinic sees it in real time on a Next.js clinic dashboard with a bell/alert for new appointments. The desk operator confirms, cancels, or changes timing; the user sees status update in real time in the app and receives FCM push notifications (confirmed, cancelled, pending, timing changes). Users also get reminder notifications 24–2 hours before and 30 minutes before the appointment.

A separate Next.js clinic onboarding and dashboard lets clinics manage appointments, add and manage doctors, and update profile. An admin dashboard allows viewing all clinics, adding new clinics, and managing clinics and their doctors. Built with React Native CLI, NestJS, Socket.io for real-time updates, FCM for push, and a trained LLM for the symptoms questionnaire.
